More than signatures
Collect written wishes, photos, voice notes, and selfie videos in one event guest book.
Private by default
Entries stay inside the host-controlled event rather than a public social feed.
One event, one keepsake
Guest-book entries and event photos stay together instead of being split across rentals and apps.
Made for meaningful moments
Ideal for weddings, milestone birthdays, retirement parties, reunions, and showers.
How it works
From setup to shared memory.
Enable the Guest Book
Create the event in Capture and turn on Guest Book entries before guests arrive.
Invite guests to contribute
Place the event QR code near the welcome area, tables, or a quiet recording corner.
Revisit every message
Browse the complete keepsake after the event and download the memories you want to preserve.
A guest book people can experience again
A paper guest book usually captures a name and a short sentence. Capture lets the same guest add their voice, expression, and point of view. A grandparent can record advice, a friend can leave a late-night selfie video, and a whole table can add a photo with their message.
Every entry belongs to the same private event as the shared photo gallery. Hosts do not have to combine files from a phone rental, a paper book, and several message threads after the celebration.
Designed around real event flow
Use one clear prompt: scan the QR code, open the Guest Book, and leave something for the host. A sign near the entrance creates early entries; a second prompt near the bar or lounge catches the warmer stories later in the evening.
For voice and video messages, choose a slightly quieter area with good light. Guests can still use their own phones, so there is no separate booth queue or rental handoff to manage.
Frequently asked questions
What can guests add to the digital guest book?
Guests can leave written messages and contribute richer media such as photos, voice notes, and selfie videos, depending on the event experience the host enables.
Is this only for weddings?
No. The guest book works especially well for milestone birthdays, retirement parties, baby showers, family reunions, engagement parties, and other events built around personal messages.
Is the guest book public?
No. It sits inside the private Capture event and follows the same host-controlled access and moderation model as the gallery.
Do guests need to create an account?
Guests can reach the event from its QR code. Browser uploads remain available without a required app or account; the optional Capture app unlocks the richer social experience.
