When you create your event, Capture generates a unique QR code automatically. Print it on signage, table cards, or display it on a screen at your venue. Guests scan it with their phone camera and are taken directly to your private gallery where they can start uploading photos and videos immediately.

Yes. Choose live viewing or set a reveal time in the host iPhone app. Before a scheduled reveal, browser guests see a countdown and can keep uploading while guest uploads are enabled. The album unlocks automatically at the chosen time. Approval remains a separate setting, so photos awaiting review still need host approval.

Yes. Your event gallery is private by default — only people with your QR code or link can access it. You have full control over who can view, upload, and download. Photos are encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS and stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We never sell or share your data, and you can delete your gallery at any time.

Photos and videos are stored exactly as guests upload them, with no resizing or re-compression. Capture also keeps a smaller 2,048-pixel copy for fast browsing; downloads and exports always use the original file. Hosts export the complete collection from the iPhone app as a ZIP or straight into the Photos app.

Host subscriptions include unlimited guest uploads. In the browser, select up to 20 files per batch, with each photo under 20 MB and each video under 100 MB. Pending uploads are stored locally with a limit of 100 files or 500 MB across the same browser.

Yes. Open Camera in the event browser to take a photo with film, vintage, black-and-white, and other filters. Photo Booth adds a three-second countdown, retakes, and frames. Guests can also apply filters and frames to selected library photos before posting. Camera access requires a compatible browser and permission; videos use the file picker.

After Capture confirms a file is saved locally, it stays in the upload list through a page reload. Reopen the same event in the same browser with the same guest identity and a connection to resume, or use Retry for a failed file. Uploads need the event open to continue. Keep originals: clearing browser data or browser storage cleanup can remove pending files.
